Bridle's face screwed up in that thoughtful expression that both the mares had come to know. He sidled up between the two of them, tossing his steel coloured tail about. He wished for a second that his wings were larger... he wanted so desperately to fly.
"I'm looking forward to meeting him,"he said to Vapour, referring to the Ram remark. "I'm sure that we'll have an assortment of Serians backing you up Coral if Venom is in the wrong." He sniffed the air casually, nostrils flaring slightly. "A hot springs you say? Well I'm definitely game. The hiking part will give me a chance to practice as well." He trotted about in a circle, anxious to get moving. "Shall we race?" he asked, winking slyly at Coral. He knew she'd get them back in the end anyway.
Enter Bridle...

Venom listened to his thoughts, nodding that indeed Coral (and Spindle as he was more delicately cute than tough and masculine) would have much protection should Venom, or any other for that matter, turn their nose up and decide to do something rogueish. She grinned defiantly at the last part, sauntering around the stallion teasingly.
"Think you have what it takes?"
As a warioress speed and power were key, and she had plenty of both. She knew though, that as a stallion, and expecially one with wings, Bridle would be fair competition. Of course, she was just always cocky about her skills.

He snorted again, his eyes raising questioningly. He chuckled, a smirk spreading across his face, and ruffled his wings, just for show. Dancing about in a tight circle, he stopped right in front of Vapour, head held high in a challenging manner. He winked mischieviously.
"Question is, Vapour, sweetheart, if you need a head start!" he replied, all innocence, voice sickeningly sweet.

She laughed aloud and flexed muscles in her front legs, a show of her powerful and practiced strides, which were long like her legs and enabled her speed to increase. With a final flick of her sapphire tail she smirked.
"Well, Bridle, honey, if you wanted to lose by more than a mile I'd take you up on that offer, but as it is I think losing by a mile is enough."
She couldn't help but giggle as she looked ahead and asked, "Ready? Coral if you will, honey." Implying that Coral would count them off. Nothing against the mare, but she knew that Coral really didn't stand a chance in the race anyway, she had other areas of expertice.

"Oh ho ho!" he exclaimed, "So that's the way it's going to be is it?" he flicked her side with his tail and grinned, spreading his wings, feathers shining brightly in the sun. They were one of his advantages. Although his legs and muscles might not be as powerful as the warrioress', his wings were key in helping him gain some extra stridelengths. It was like having an extra set of legs, albeit somewhat weaker than his real ones.
He winked flirtatiously back at Coral and crouched down low, waiting for her to count them off, hoping to get a bit of a jump start on the cocky mare.

Coral flicked her tail. Yes, she didn't so much like racing. And she'd already had to do it once today.
"Okay, if you two want to... On your mark."
She watched them crouch. "Get set."
An extra-long pause. "GO!"
She figured she'd trot along at a leisurely pace after the two racers...
