"Sounds like a plan," he said happily, glad that she still wanted to be around him. He thought for a moment then said,"I don't know her by any name other than Moon Blaze, so I wouldn't know. They started walking, and Sunspot had a little spring in his step. He hadn't realized just how hungry for social contact he really was. "So, do you want to start the game or should I?" This was gonna be so fun!

With a slightly bemused expression upon her face, Frolic allowed him his exuberance without reproach. Such a strange, happy stallion, or so it seemed.

In her mind at least it was settled; none of her bonded's sort held one name alone. Even their honest name had a nickname, their true title being uttered but rarely.

I will. I hold a thought within my head; you have twenty questions with which to guess it.

With that, she started walking, the image of her favorite flower forefront upon her mind - the pink Tiger Lily, for which her bondmates had nicknamed her.

Sunspot thought up a question, then asked "Is it an animal?"

No, it's no animal. Try again.

She was slightly more relaxed, walking and playing a simple game with this strange new friend. He was almost impossible to be angry with, and so dampened the rage in her heart - even if only down to a low simmer. Condescending, yes, that would be quite possible with such a display of exuberance - but no, not anger.

They were following along a stream now - had there been one before? She couldn't recall. Without much thought, she paused long enough to leap upon a tree and snatch at a strange fruit, one she had no name for and yet remembered the taste in some far distant part of her mind. With nary a pause she turned her head, tossed it to Sunspot, and then fetched one for her own self, easily falling in step with him.

What would he think of, when his turn came? It would be interesting to figure out how his mind worked, trying to find the answer.

He caught the fruit she tossed him, not sure of the kind but it tasted pretty good. Kind of citrusey. She seemed to be more relaxed than when he first met her. He really hoped they would become good friends. She seemed like she needed one. After he finished the fruit he paused for a moment to take a drink from the stream, thinking up his next question.

Is it bigger than my hoof?

'What could it be?' he wondered.

Oh yes, certainly bigger than that.

He seemed calmer, with something to occupy his mind. Without thinking, Frolic spoke her mind, somewhat surprising herself. But not by much - she was bolder now, harder. Angrier with life.

Do you even know what thoughts you try to run from with all your restless energy? You seem more 'together' when you have a focus. So, in regards to this focus, it's no animal and larger than your hoof. Keep digging. Or would you care to hazard a guess already?
