Crystal Frost

Take your Serians here to chat or just roam their homeland.
The sun glitters above vast fields ringed by verdant forests to the north, mountains to the south and east, and wide rivers to the west.

Crystal Frost

A few stray snowflakes settle to the ground at her entrance to the fields. After a look around she trots further into the fields stopping to give this or that a sniff. *snort* Crystal shakes her wind tossed mane out of habit, it falls in chaotic waves upon her neck.

She'd only been settled into her new home a short while but already, she felt restless so she came here to see what there is to see. Joy it is a field. she tells herself sarcasticly. Oh don't be such a grump. she also tells herself. Crystal often had such conversations with herself...didn't everybody?

Hooves covered in sparkling frost step delicately over the grass. There has to be /something/ to do. Crystal hopes anyways. Boredom was not something this serian enjoyed very much.

She kicks a pebble...

The wind whipped at his hair as Destiny raced across the fields. Adrenalins hurtling him onwards while his heart pounded in his chest, his hooves almost flying across the grass. For him racing was the only thing in the world to do, (other than pick on his brothers). As he closed his eyes to feel the wind caress his face and draw its long fingers through his mane and tail he could almost hear ... the skittering of a small pebble across the ground.

Suddenly he snapped his eyes open to see that straight in front of him was another Serian. Just standing there... and he was about to go head first into them. Quickly he dug his hooves into the ground in an attempt to slow down. His hooves dug large deep grooves into the grass causing him to almost sit while his backside bearly scraped the ground and dirt to cascade either side of him like water. Just as he almost buried himself up to his nose in dirt he stopped, right next to the other Serian. However he realised his stunt caused a small sprinkling of dirt to darken her shoulder.

A bit embarrassed Destiny tried to salvage a good first impression as he has not met many and already he believes he shouldn't. So he cleared his throat and stood up, causing dirt to fall off him and somehow add to the others coat. Hanging his head in embarrassment he introduced himself.

Um... Sorry about that. I'm Destiny. I was just... er... Hi, how are you? Um... Sorry He voice began like normal but as his courage failed him it began to sound mousy, ending in an almost whisper.

Destiny turned redder by the moments that passed by.

He had been moving too fast and he'd already been stopping before Crystal had realized what had nearly happened. She shakes the dirt from her coat with a laugh, "Boy what a close call! You all right..Destiny is what you said your name was?" Crystal looks more concerned about the stallion than anything, it had really all happened too fast for her to get scared.

"I'm Crystal." she adds after a moment.

Glad he didn't get a hoof or two in the snout he smiled and cautiously looked up. Seeing the concerned look on the mare’s face he thought it best to explain.

Oh I'm fine. It happens all the time. (maybe that wasn't such a good idea) Um, I mean ... that is ... you see I like to pick on my brother Illuminate and he gets annoyed and so he chases me. He uses his wings, he is pretty fast but I'm faster. I personally just like to run. So I just end up racing...

Feeling like he should slow his rambling he decided to change the subject so that he didn't need to hide.

Do you like to race? Chris? Christel? Is that your name? Ashamed he didn't quite catch her name he took a rough guess. Feeling very uncomfortable that he rudely forgot her name he shifted from side to side with a guilty look on his face.

(He is not very good at conversations but he tries.)

Crystal nods, "Glad you're okay. I'm sure it must be lots of fun to be able to run so fast." she tosses her mane to the side.

She smiles not at all offended, "Crystal, but close enough." the elemental walks past the new hole in the ground absently before asking, "Anything interesting to see around here, Destiny? I'm assuming that you might know more about this place than I do." Crystal grins.

((Awwe, hehe he's cute. ^^ ))

Blushing deeply he lowered his head again.

Sorry... Crystal. He looked up to make sure he got her name right this time. As she didn't frown at him he took it as a good sign. However his ears pricked up at the mention of 'anything interesting around here.'

Interesting?! Like a child in a huge toy department holding a lifetime supply of candy his eyes lit up. Did you say you wanted me to show you anything interesting around here. Sure! Let's go.

Unfortuneatle due to excitement he forgot his manners and started to race off towards "something interesting". However he caught himself before he disappeared and returned bashfully to escort Crystal. Mumbling his appologies he decided to take Crystal on a tour of what he has seen so far of Sionayra (which is mostly the wide open fields where he has been known to often leave hoofprints and deep impressions due to stoping suddenly).
