She stared at him, then rolled her eyes. The mare coldly turned away, flicking her tail.

Satin began trotting away. She knew his name and what he looked like. Now she could rub Indian's nose in the fact that she knew more people then the other mare did. So ha.

Id watched the mare go, debating the issue in his mind of whther to ask her to stay or not. He sighed again before calling out.

He could learn some social skills, not that this mare would be a great teacher, he could tell she liked her solitude like himself, and perhaps he was just asking for a disaster. However, maybe he could learn...something.

Satin stopped and spun around to face him. One ear was flicked in his direction and the other was pinned back.

He attempted a small smile. "I don't wish you to leave in a sour mood."

She listened carefuly, then both ears were perked forward. A small smile flashed onto her muzzle.

"Pleasure to meet you." She continued on as if she hadn't tried to leave, and stood there, waiting for something to happen next.

"The same," he returned, with a brief nod. He stood awhile in awkward silence, since he really didn't know what to say. "Um, why are you out here?"
