Hailfire, oh the confusion

Belle of a thousand hidden worries, but she was brought out of that anti-social nature by her closest friend, the elusive thief, Beta. Who strangely enough wasn't with the frosted mare today. Silver tresses hung unnoticed in front of closed ruby orbs, the firey depths in hidden meditation as she enjoyed the fading warmth of the day. Although she preferred night still, day brough a calming serenity to her.

Lifting her head slightly, her eyes remained closed. Wings flexed and tested the wind as frost-hued crania tilted to the side in contemplation. It seemed like flying would take effort, the wind was dying down and the muggy heat made her feel dry and sore. She stood with some effort, stretched grandly, and trotted towards the stream behind her, plunging in and nestling into the sandy bottom, leaning her head onto shore. Sighing contentedly, she stared at the sky and watched the shades pass from cerulean to a soft sapphire. Auds were poised to catch the slightest noise, and it seemed they did at long last, snapping her out of her snooze.

"Hello?" Inquisitive voice glided along the dying breeze, so softspoken at times and so 'in-your-face' and mischevious at others. She was certainly a mystery.

Twist glides above a stream. The warm wind whips through his mane as he glides slowly towards the ground. Queching his thirst in the stream, he looks up and suddenly sees a silvery wisp of hair laying by the water. He trots up and sees the lady the hair belongs to.

Greeting, lady. 'Tis a fine day, is it not?

Soft smile was given as sodden form pulled itself up alongside the bank. She didn't shake her mane, for that would be rude, but was content to let the muggy heat of the approaching night do that for her.

"Well, what's left anyway." She chuckled softly and shrugged, pulling her wings out to the side and making a slight fan for herself.

"Haven't seen you around here before, I'm Frostbite, and you are?" It seemed she was in a fairly talkative mood now, having spent the day on her own for once. It was nice to get away from the insane bunch she often was surrounded by. Spindle was probably the only down-to-earth one, but he was also so concentrated on his 'studies' it didn't seem to matter. Hmmm, this one kind of spoke like he did, funny that.

He watched as the mare rose from the water. It must be uncomfortable being so wet.

Well, a fine evening then. he said with a smile. He folded his butterfly wings to his sides.

I haven't been here before. My name is Twist and it is a grand pleasure to make your aquantince. he added. He took the sight of the mare in. Frostbite was a fitting name for her coloring, but he couldn't help but wonder if her personality would be cold.

She tilted her head at the wings, so much unlike her own. But she liked them too, in fact she thought hers gave off too harsh of an impression. She really was quite a vixen if occasion called for it, and so was more social than you'd expect! But that was the other half of her dual personality... the first was the one most would expect.

"Yes, that it will be I'm sure. " Smile was again offered as she nodded her head and moved closer to the stallion.

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Twist. It's a nice place, I often visit here." She commented, sighing softly as the sun dipped below the horizon and the warmth of the plants about her began to fade slightly. It certainly was warm though, her mane was already drying into a tangled cascade.

Ah, well, then you will know your way around. Twist said marveling at the way her mane was drying. This was so unlike him. Acedemics first then romantics. Oh well, maybe it was time to change.

Sunsets are so enchanting, don't you think? he added watching the sky change colors.
