Frolic followed his gaze. "In love with a tree now, huh?" she asked jokingly.
Fleet galloped after her, his gray mane whipping backwards. He could have easily kept up to her, but chose not to, because she was one of the only friends he had, and he wanted to impress her.

That's the thing about black and white: mix them together and you get gray. And no matter how much white you put back in, it'll still always be gray.

Spin flicked his gaze to Frolic, a grin appearing on his muzzle. "Oh, of course. You know it." He flicked his tail, then glanced around, hoping this one called Lothorien would show up soon.
Satin ploughed(sp?) in to the water, trotting in until the water reached up above her shoulder. She glanced over at Fleet, smiling. Where the water touched her coat, her fur turned from blue to dark blue, and her tail floated lazily on the water's surface.

"Well, then I'm jealous." Frolic nuzzled him again.
Fleet daintly stepped into the river. He had never been completely submerged, as he liked deserts much better. Not wanting to show his weakness, he then plunged straight in, slipping on a rock and falling face first into the water. He leaped up, sputtering and smiling crookedly.

Spin chuckled, nuzzling her back. He flicked his tail, glancing at Flit, then over to Fleet and Satin.
Satin giggled, nuzzling him. She clenched her teeth, and submerged her head, blowing out through her nose so water wouldn't get in to her lungs. She kept herself under for a couple seconds, then flung her head up, and shook it. Her forelock now clung to her forehead, as did her mane.

Frolic lipped his mane, then stared a rose bush, thinking that Spin's color matched the roses' perfectly.
Fleet nuzzled her back, his coat wet through and sticking the body like a paste. Suddenly, he nipped her hindquarters and ran off down the stream, hoping she would follow.
