sunny vallies, hidden forests

Take your Serians here to chat or just roam their homeland.
The sun glitters above vast fields ringed by verdant forests to the north, mountains to the south and east, and wide rivers to the west.

sunny vallies, hidden forests

ooc|this is my first bonded and my first attempt at this board so it might not be so good. :stress:

Sparkle walkied over the top of the hill and looked down on a gloriously golden meadow that matched his main and tail perfectly.

it had been an odd day for him so such a sight was welcom. just beyond the meadow lay a woods with a silver blue stream singing deep into its shade. the stream actually arched around the hill he was standing on and ran next to the meadow. it was a calm and peacfull sight that made you feel as if no other creature knew of this place.

Sparkle had come here hoping for others to make friends with but the valley and forest seemed to sleep. Songhue had recieved him with such familiararity that she seemed to think them old friends who hadn't visited in a awhile. after the welcom that had been so calm it seemed almost to be cold he'd been informed that his home was having some details worked on and that he could stay with her until everything was updated. it had been been her idea to go out and make friends as well. if he let them get close enough he may even join a circle.

for now though Sparkle mostly wanted a drink from that ever inticing stream. and perhaps a quick bath to get rid of all the pesky flies. he flicked his tail at them absently and headed down hill at a sltight trot. because it arched around the rise he would still be able to to hear someone approaching so there was no fear of being snuck up on. and a bath did sound like just th eroutine thing he needed to set his day back on track. the greeting of his bonded still confounded him but he hoped he'd get to know her better with time's passing. perhaps she was just very mellow. until then he would play in the water to neutralize the long walk and hope taht some other life might come along.

Crouched in one of the branches of a large ash was a Serian. He had been watching the butterflies up there. It was one of his favorite spots. He called it the Butterfly Tree, and was planning to one day make it his permanent home. Of course, as just a foal, he would probably forget those dreams by the time he grew up. But hey, who knew?

He had been about to take a nap, for all the butterflies were gone, when he saw Sparkle go to get a drink from the stream. Mischeivous as he was, he hopped down from the branch right in back of Sparkle and went "BOO!"

Edit:

Darn, image isn't working. Go here for the image:

That's the thing about black and white: mix them together and you get gray. And no matter how much white you put back in, it'll still always be gray.

Sparkle flicked his ear as he stepped into the water. he thought he'd heard something but the singign stream made it difficult to tell. he rolled in the warter a few times to get rid of the flies and when he stood back up he saw a young colt standing nest to him looking perplexed.

"Hi, i'm sparkle. why d'you look so confused? never mind, what's your name instead? or should i just call you squirt?" Sparkle teased.

he knew perfectly well that this was not a serian to call squirt though no matter how young. he was a force to be reconed with and looked like he would be loads of fun. and if nothing else the day was certainly getting more intersting. and the stripes were a nice touch, Sparkle thought, they went well with his main. perhaps he could find out who the parents were, he would love to see the ones that such a serian came from.

ooc|my bad, i didn't know you couldn't do that any more. i fixed it, see? :stress:

The young Serian raised what would be eyebrows. "My name is Summer Solstice." He was a bit annoyed at being called Squirt, but he let it swing. "You're Sparkle?" He scruntized him carefully, paying no attention to the fact that it was impolite to do that to your elders, or to anybody. "You're the Serian that was Abandoned for a while, right? If you are, then you would know my mom."

oocl Thanx for fixing it! ^_^ By the way, he's a bit older in this one then in Wandering.
