SilverRain watched Chaos leave sadly. Someday he'd return the favour. He couldn't have asked for a better friend. He smiled thoughtfully. To think that the childhood foal he had argued and fought with would be his best friend! He turned his attention back to the mare, now that he was slightly less flabbergasted.

He smiled disarmingly at the shy mare, and cocked his head questioningly.

"You know me?" he laughed aloud. "I didn't know I was being watched! Quite a talent you have Tinsel. And altar born as well? My mother's told me of altar born Serians. My father's one." He grinned again, and spread his wings wide at her compliment.

"Well, they are big, but not nearly as pretty as your wings. I've never seen their like." He shifted his weight somewhat, so that his stance was a more friendly one. He had been surprised by Chaos' entrance, and hadn't realized how threatening he'd looked.

Tinsel gave the departing stallion a smile and a nod before he left then turned her eyes shiftily towards SilverRain. "I.. I didn't mean to.. I heard noises and I saw you.. but I just.." She listened to his comment and gave him a smile. "Not many circle-born serians know too much about 'us'."

She pranced a bit and fluttered her wings in response, her whole being seeming to light up with glee. "You really thnk so? I was told I was the first to have them.. some other serians didn't like it... so I left.." She pawed the ground nervously and tilted her head. "That was a bit of an intimidating stance... you must be strong.." She looked over his form thoughtfully, noting the horns. She walked closer to inspect them- she hadn't seen this type before on the few serians she'd associated with before leaving. "Oh?..." She mumbled, carefully avoiding the points but inspecting them quite thuroughly. "Do they hurt? I mean.. can you feel them? I know they can hurt others.."

Now silence. Her tail slashed behind her in embarassment, she always clammed up like this! It was the whole reason she had waited for the fiery stallion to come along. She could never do things like this on her own. She wanted to know him.. but how could she let him know that?

He smiled gently at the young mare.

"I suppose growing up with Altar heritage I learned about it pretty quick." he said. He looked at her seriously. "Other Serians didn't like it? Never let people make you ashamed of who you are, and never let people feel like you're not wanted. If they didn't like it, they should have left." He tossed his mane haughtily. "Besides, they wouldn't know gorgeous if they saw it."

He smiled and winked at her, wondering if he was pushing this a bit too far. She seemed kinda shy after all....

"Strong? Well, I hope I'm strong... although I'm not really sure to tell you the truth. Still so new in this body." His mouth twitched in amusement at her horn inspection. "Well, they still hurt a bit now...growing I suppose. Other than that I don't really feel them to tell you the truth. They're from my mom... only hers are much longer."

The mare smiled up at him and blushed suddenly at his action. "I-I-..I'm not.. n.. not gorgeous.." Her head was hidden below him, peering intently down at the horns as she fought off the red hue seeping across her face. When she was a bit more controlled she gasped and stepped back quickly. She wasn't used to being so close to someone. "I..I'm sorry.." She paused and shook her unease aside. "Longer?! H-how long?" She was really surprised at that and pictured all sorts of demonic looking points protruding from this shady unknown mare.

She smiled again, a mere twitch at the lips this time. "I'm a bit new into my growing form as well, but I feel so small.. I suppose I just wasn't meant to be strong..."

He laughed aloud at her unease at being called gorgeous.. although she was... He looked at her, his gaze serious again.

"Yes. Gorgeous." he grinned. "There's not many mares or stallions that are truely beautiful, so when you find one that is, it's only right to tell them." He grinned widely at her shocked expression about his mother.

"Well, at the very least they're twice my size. She's wonderful though. She may look somewhat ferocious, but I'll be forever grateful to her. She's taught me so much. And don't worry about your new form. You may not be a warrior or strong, but you're nimble and quick. And very good at hiding I might add," he said, the corner of his mouth twitching again. He pawed at the ground idly, a habit he had inherited from his father, while he waited for a response.

Again he said it and again she ducked her head in embarassment, icy mane shielding most of her face. "Y-you can't m-..mean that..." It sounded like she was reassuring herself more than making a statement. Just looking up at him she knew he couldn't mean that. He was so strong and handsome! But then the look in his eyes was gentle and sweet. He seemed to be the perfect blend of everything and somehow in his presence she felt unworthy. She didn't even know why she'd boldly requested to come over. One look at him and suddenly she was so shy and nervous.

"Is it nice to have a mother? I don't know what it's like.. I wonder if I'd make a good one myself someday..." She spaced out momentarily then blushed realizing her comment could lead to a different conversation and possibly be taken as an implication of what she was hiding. "I knwo how to hide because it is necessary. I can't fight, so I lead the ones with brute strength into a mind game. I suppose everyone has their talents. I even flew once or twice. It kind of scares me, though... can you fly? Your wings look strong and pretty..." Again she was admiring him, enjoying their similarity and how kind he was to her. He didn't chase her away like the others in that dreaded mansion...
