Silver snorted laughingly at Wildfire's "attempt" to draw him out of hiding... it's not like he was hiding anyway. His tail was quite comical actually, in the position that he had it in. He snuck away slowly, belly to the ground, and crept up behind the lizard like tail. He snickered quietly. This was going to be too easy...

Chaos grinned and with a liquid movement that must have been from his mother he slapped the foal with a large 'thwack' sound from his tail. The warning blow landed on his left shoulder and Wildfire seemed slightly surprised. Nevertheless he looked rather smug with the effect of his 'hiding' but decided to try and be nice like aunty Vapor would want..

"Hey, uh, Silver right? Yeah it's you. Whaddaya doin' out here? I came to get away from Va..uhh.. aunt Vapor.."

He snickered and winced somewhat at the sting of the blow.

"You came here to get away from my mother?" he asked cooly, "They're adults, not to mention warriors. You could learn a lot from them." He brushed his back up against the apple tree, scratching his shoulder blades. "You should really respect your elders and betters. "Aunt Vapor" could teach you a lot." He grinned smugly at him and flexed his wings powerfully. He had just recently began noticing the joys of having wings... and those wonderful horns that encircled his neck-obviously from his mother's side.

Chaos grinned and shrugged.

"Some of us don't need to learn as much as others..."

He strutted about and thudded his tail a bit more, that- anyone could tell was from his mother. Still, he didn't really care at that point, they had even told him he was talented for his age, so why wouldn't they just let him enjoy being a foal? There were little holes in the ground from the horn on his tail which he idly admired before stertching again.

"So as I said, what are you doing out here? If you adore learnign and training so much the adults are back thattaway."

He pointed with his muzzle before rearing up and snatching a pear for good measure, never run around on an empty stomach.

He glared at the foal and tossed his mane angrily, another gesture of his father's.

"Of course we need to learn! After all, we're only foals, and our parents are respected warriors." He ground his teeth in frustration. He was so insufferable! "You really are pig headed and arrogant, aren't you?" he snapped. Angrily, he swiveled and rammed the tree trunk with his horns, puncturing the wood numerous times before he felt satisfied. Sighing, he stood up straight and tried to remain cool and aloof.

"I'm here because I wanted to explore first and foremost. Nothing more. Your tail was bothering me, standing up like a beacon and all, so I merely came over here to rectify the situation." he stated with a sophisticated air.

Chaos had an easily revealed 'hello? I don't care.' nature and he exposed that now. Actually satisfied with the other's reaction, he grinned.

"Yeah sure, for amateurs like you who need to train then sure listen to the elders and blah blah blah, but for those like me who can't learn anymore, we wait until everyone else catches up."

He tossed his own mane, but it was in a triumphant gesture.

"Pig headed and arrogant? Me? Naaah! I'm just not a 'moma's foal'! And as for the beacon I knew it'd draw your attention eventually. So predictable.."

He was smart if he wanted to show it, but he preferred to be egocentric and the center of attention, at least, around those who deserved to see that side of him. He nodded and trotted off, spotting a nice ledge of grass that overlooked a stream he sat on it and peered around, occassionally hooving at a fish or disturbing something somehow.
