Sparkle felt a wry grin hook his mouth as Spin entered their little space and stepped next to Eve to observe. These things vaugely amused him since he could usually think of at least a dozen different ways things could have been said or done and others didn't seem to see anything. Then again he had a lot of time to watch and think before. They weren't good memories but they were something to learn off of and at the moment he remembered the lesson of silence.

He was far from still, heck he was never still, but he did tilt his head at the confrontation in front of him, waiting to see how large the explosion would be. Saphy was proving to be highly interesting.

Eve watched the situation with a light gravity. She knew both places, the runaway's and the guardian's. That same hurt she had seen in her guardian's eye, as she turned her back on him, as she hid in the shadowed wings of her Incubus. She had seen a pain much greater than her own in his eyes, as he watched her wings fall away.

Perhaps the gravity of their situation wouldn't be so great. It seemed everyone got their eventual happy ending, as she got not a happy one, but a tolerable one. Her only punishments were the ones she inflicted upon herself. She hoped Saphire would not live with the regrets she herself had chosen to bear.

She tightly closed her eyes and sighed. When her eyes flicked open once more, those red pupils were piercing, a fire seeming to be burning behind them.

"What do you want, father?" She asked, still fairly ticked about earlier.

Spin's eyes took on a fire of their own, narrowing onto his daughter. "Thats no way to speak to me, young lady. Also, your due home."

'Young lady.' That was rich, and in all honesty Spin seemed to battle weary when it came to fights with this young lady. She had fire, that was clear, but he was Stice's sire as well and Sparkle couldn't help but wonder his take on all this. Shifting, he looked from one face to another and finished with Spin. If the young fire cracker was due back home he supposed that meant he'd have to find some other fire to play with. The thing was though that this one was highly entertaining.

ooc| This is too good to be dead! *posts for no reason* O.o

bic| SaphireSpin took a step backwards, moving farther away from home. She knew the direction she would have to go to get back to the cottage, and decided to move away. Spin spotted the defiance in her eyes and twitched.

He vowed to himself never to raise his voice at either of his children... That just wouldn't be right. He took in a rattled sigh at an attempt to calm himself. It helped only a little, shoving down the boiling rage deeper inside of him.

"Go.Home." His words were short and firm, flicking his tail for added effect. Saphire took another step back, a twisted smirk playing across her lips. It seems she had picked something up from one of the other cottage's inhabitants since this smirk seemed familiar to one of a turqoise (sp? >_>; ) stallion.

OOC| Agreed, I'm glad you brought it back. :)

BIC| Family rivalry. More curious now than interested, Sparkle shifted his weight and stretched out his neck to sniff at the air. He could almost feel the tension. What's more was the fact that he may very well have this same problem himself. He was still hoping for Mist, though he had to admit that that couldn't happen. His circle was full, and he wasn't sure she'd be willing to join if it wasn't.

At the moment, however, he took note of the way the two argued. He had a feeling that this was something that had been going on for quite some time. It had the feel of repetition to it, and that two creatures could live together with so much pressure between them came as a surprise. Well, it would have if it wasn't for Path. That mare was as stiffly formal as they came, and it drove him bonkers. Ha, bonkers, there's a word you'd never hear her say.

Irritated now, he squinted his eyes and hoped for the stubborn Saphy to win. There were times when you simply needed to get out of routine and do something crazy. Maybe if she held her ground they could do that something together; it wasn't like he could depend on Path or Songhue for it. Besides, she was such a fireball he didn't want to show to end.
