Both mares stop adruptly when Comet's nice alto compliments Crystal's lyric. While Crystal looked embarassed, Banjo looked pleased.

She smiles triumphantly, "See? Another poet like yourself, Crystal and he thinks it's good too! I don't understand why you don't share your stuff more." Her silver eyes twinkle in the light of the moon from her friend to Comet.

Crystal flushes and then straightens up to her usual proud posture, frosted ears flick forward, the moonlight sparkling like fire in the icey crystals. She really wasn't sure she liked it that this..stranger had heard, however his gentle reply did reassure her that he wouldn't think her hobby stupid.

Banjo chuckles at Sparkle, "I know what you mean. I feel the same way about the sky and the oceans." she swishes her short blue tail alittle. "I'm Banjo by the way, who would you lovely gentlestallies be?" her brows arch inquiringly.

Crystal, flips her voluminious forelocks off her face still eyeing the two stallions. "Crystal." she says shortly, voice chilly for the time being.

Crystal's tone makes Sparkle smile, remembering that Sky hadn't been to willing for friends at first either. The tough serians like Sky, Stice and Crystal always got his full respect from the start.

"I'm Sparkle."

Shifting, he looked around and saw a small patch of trees nearby that he quickly went to, his head slightly down.

"I don't really feel small next to the ocean though, just energy. It's just stars, with so many of them and so few of us."

The brilliantly hued male turns to the other, who he's seen around before but never really met. "Sparkle, hmm? Your inner fires seem to spark from the light of the sky just as much as my own. There is much to be seen, yet we can see perfectly. Close your eyes and watch." He instructed, voice as soft as before, closing his eyes. Again the comets danced across his vision, and gasses swirled atop planets far-off which wandered closer on his mental journey through the galaxy.

He shook himself out of his dream-like state to notice the femmes had spoken, and chuckling at the notice of Crystal's shy acceptance of the compliment from both Banjo and himself. "A poet like myself? How extraordinary, such luck! I only feel the need to speak on importance. And importance to me are things few and far between. Poetry and knowledge are two such things." He admits, surprised by his own talkativeness. Perhaps his solitary life had started to wear on him.

"My name is Comet, of the shrouded galaxy beyond this jester's cloak of sky." He introduces, going into a gentlestallionly bow and then rising back up. "It is a pleasure to meet you all." His eyes linger on the extravagance of the frosted femme and he tilts his head, wondering if she were of some special property, but not being bold enough to ask.

((Occ: I have to agree with Songhue. You're so good it makes me roll around in shame. XD *luffs*))

Banjo flicks her ears in surprise, this fellow was really eloquent and far more poetic than any serian she'd ever met. Sparkle was more like her and, so she naturally found herself hanging out alittle closer to him for conversation. Let Crystal handle the cosmic poet. The baby blue mare smiles secretly at the thought.

"It is nice to meet you Sparkle and Comet." Banjo wanders over to the trees he heads to, but not all the way she didn't want Crystal to feel abandoned. "I love the sea...sure it isn't as infinite as the galaxies but when you really see how vast it is compared to us...it is amazing and humbling at the same time." Her expression softens and her eyes grow misty, "And the Life. The Life to be found in the sea, so fantastic." Banjo's voice is found as she speaks of her favorite thing in the whole world.

Crystal watches him speak and bow feeling just alittle bemused, it was both intimidating yet exciting to meet someone like him. Someone who lived and breathed poetry even though she didn't immerse herself into the art quite as much.

She just wasn't one to show off, she supposed which was really half the purpose of poetry. She glances at Banjo, but then she had a friend to do the showing off for her. Though Banjo insisted that they were really meant for Crystal to sing.

Finally voice whispering like frost on grass, "It is surprising to meet you Comet...I never thought to find another with such soul in them. I'm-I'm not quite sure what to say, you've left me speechless." Crystal ducks her head a moment after saying that. Now she'd gone and done it, how cliche`. She'd really wanted to return with something beautiful, but the words seemed to have clogged below her heart.

Banjo made Sparkle's whole night when she mentioned the life in the sea. He really felt slightly extra with the two poets over there, but Banjo made him feel welcomed, something he greatly appretiated.

"Oh, my, the life." he breathed, a small, slightly crooked smile twitching his lips. "How I love to be under with all the colors flashing in the filtered light. It's a familiar alien place, Strange and beautiful and never the same the next time you visit. If I could be so lucky I would watch their show of life for hours, swaying with the current and feeling the water press against me as they passed."

He sighed happily and then turned his grin on Banjo, curious that she should like water and sea life as well. He loved it for the way the light interacted with it, the way things looked like they were just mirages hiding secrets. But why would this mare like it? Surely it would be for a better reason than his, which was why he didn't say anything about his actual reasoning.

Then he looked over at the others, no longer worried that he sounded stupid to them and said what was on his mind. "I would hope that you would never be left speachless as you're both so wonderful to hear. The secrets of the night are filled with beauty, but the hard part is knowing what they are, truly, and as seeing them if full is neigh impossible, so I would rather hear them from two so able. Please, I mean it, I'd like to hear more."

He offered a small smile, wondering how they would describe the way he felt about the sea and knowing that he wouldn't ask.
