Sparkle chased the lights through the water, a big grin splattered across his face as he bucked and twisted. He did love this show of lights and droplets, but every now and then he'd toss a glance back to Amber as well. He was ever the good friend, and if she wasn't enjoying herself then he'd find another game for them to play.
He was focused hard on the placement of his hooves as she skidded towards him, not wanting to slip and hurt a leg when he landed or accedentally crush some of the life the thrived in the shallows. Because of this he didn't see her as he twisted around, but he did feel her pass close to him and the fountain of water she brought out made him laugh. It was good to just run and appretiate the sun and earth, and the cool moisture Felt good as it warmed on his back.
He was still dripping from this close passage when he went to look back at her again, part of him wanting to aim a counter splash and cause another display of dancing lights, and the other still wanting to just see how she was doing. When he saw that she'd stopped, however, he paused as well, one ear flicking back in concern as he studied her. This wasn't a game where you were supposed to stop; you splashed, occasionally got each other, and enjoyed the rainbows and diamonds it revealed. The only true point was movement.
"Are you ok," Sparkle called over with a rather notable concern in his voice that he didn't try to hide. "You didn't hurt yourself, did you? You have to be really careful about how you land sometimes..."
