Sparkle chased the lights through the water, a big grin splattered across his face as he bucked and twisted. He did love this show of lights and droplets, but every now and then he'd toss a glance back to Amber as well. He was ever the good friend, and if she wasn't enjoying herself then he'd find another game for them to play.

He was focused hard on the placement of his hooves as she skidded towards him, not wanting to slip and hurt a leg when he landed or accedentally crush some of the life the thrived in the shallows. Because of this he didn't see her as he twisted around, but he did feel her pass close to him and the fountain of water she brought out made him laugh. It was good to just run and appretiate the sun and earth, and the cool moisture Felt good as it warmed on his back.

He was still dripping from this close passage when he went to look back at her again, part of him wanting to aim a counter splash and cause another display of dancing lights, and the other still wanting to just see how she was doing. When he saw that she'd stopped, however, he paused as well, one ear flicking back in concern as he studied her. This wasn't a game where you were supposed to stop; you splashed, occasionally got each other, and enjoyed the rainbows and diamonds it revealed. The only true point was movement.

"Are you ok," Sparkle called over with a rather notable concern in his voice that he didn't try to hide. "You didn't hurt yourself, did you? You have to be really careful about how you land sometimes..."

Amber watched him and her own display of water drops and lights. "Ya, I'm just fine Sparkle", she tossed her main and spun around on the spot. "I was just thinking on something by bonded had said, that's all. Though thanks for the concern." She lowered her head just a little, but her forelock slid and fell over one eye. She was really touched by his concern. She shook her head and brought it back up to normal position, hoping her forelock would move off her eye but it didn't.

She then again had the feeling, which she had had earlier. She was starting to put it all together; she was really fond of the yellow stallion. She felt save and happy when he was around. He also could calm her down when she was boiling over with anger. As she thought of this she gazed at him. Finally realizing her actions she shook her head again and jogged closer and skidded to a halt. This created a medium size wave.

She really hoped he had not seen that, though actually she hoped he had. Now she would wait for his next move, she was ready to counter.

Sparkle nodded quietly at her responce, his eyes still shinin with worry as she moved closer once more. If she was sure, but her sudden stopping seemed unusual. After a moment he gave in, tossing his head as he trotted lightly over to nudge her shoulder with his nose. This tender sign of affection, however, was quickly offset by a playful wink and then a huge bucking splash. Just look at those lights dance off of Amber's coat! And the water as well, the diamonds and rainbows in the water were also quite lovely. :)

Again Amber was taken back by his actions of affection. She shook herself after he had bucked up a huge splash, though this time she could see what he saw in the water, the diamond and rainbows. "Wow, there beautiful. What do you think Sparkle? She lowered her head to the waters surface.

She then decided that she would just let herself go, to follow her instincts. She raised her head and trotted over closer to the yellow stallion, and then she started a series of bucks and rears. This sent water drops in all directions; all sign of hesitation were gone. She then stopped for only a moment, right in front of him. Her forelock landed over one eye, and her mane and tail blew lightly in the breeze. The eye that you could see was filled with affection and care. She then whispered, “Thanks for the concern, I am fine now.” With that she let her muzzle touch his before resuming to her series of bucks and rears

Blinking at her touch, Sparkle stood stock still for what could be the first time in his life. He was still mimiking a statue when she promised she really was fine, and at that point he completely melted. Laughing, he joined her in the randomness that the game called for, moving side by side with this mare he was so found of and watching the lights dance around him...

Amber watched, "Hey are you ok? You were standing still, that's not like you,” she said with concern and a little giggle. She was so happy when he joined her in her rearing and bucking series. She loved how they were side by side and having so much fun. Water drops flew in every direction and glistened/sparkled in the sunlight. You could say it looked like as if someone had poured sparkles over them and the water. It was a fantastic light show to watch.

"Oh goodness, is that... a lump of grey pulp and a slightly damp piece of paper attached to it?"
