Mixed Up Matchings [Open]

Take your Serians here to chat or just roam their homeland.

Re: Mixed Up Matchings [Open]

Vision's hooves crashed into the water with a resounding whoosh, sending up a torrent of water to drench the helpless Nymph following closely on his heels. She whinnied in surprise and reared, pivoting smoothly in place only to be hit by the backlash of Sparkle's splash. For a moment she remained standing on all fours, blinking heavily, the water sliding off of her ebony tresses in pools.

Vision laughed and trotted in place, sending up little waves of water to splash anyone within their proximity. He made absolutely certain however that he was not rambunctious enough to dislodge his golden blindfold. The last thing he wanted to do was lose his security blanket, sort to speak, especially when surrounded by unfamiliar Serians.

Nymph recovered from her drenching, and giggled- the sound reminded Vision of tiny tinkling bells, or the giddy laughter of a foal. With a bright grin, she reared again and planted her forehooves into the water firmly, aiming to splash both Sparkle and Whirl if she could.

With an impish grin, Vision lapped up a mouthful of water and spat it in Nymph's general direction, much in the same manner as a water gun would. The thin stream of water hit Nymph squarely in the nose and she wrinkled her dainty features before laughing and doing likewise in return.

Re: Mixed Up Matchings [Open]

Sparkle was properly soaked thanks to everyone, not that he noted. He was too busy bucking up as much water as possible, whinnying out a laugh as both Nymph and Whirl hit him with a wall of water.

He couldn't help but laugh, though in all honesty it was from sheer relief. He was still able to enjoy himself, at least, still able to play in spite of the seriousness that settled in his veins like poison.

He pulled his back legs up and spun around at the same time, creating a sort of funnel around him and sending water flying. It was an old and favorite move, though for more reasons than soaking everyone at once.

He simply loved looking at the canyon through the veil of glittering droplets. Everything seemed to slow down when he saw it this way, the lights dancing off the crystals and rainbows, the droplets shimmering against the pale moonlight.

Snorting, he looked at the others with something like hope in his eyes, though even he had to admit it was a frail hope. He had changed; how or why he didn't know, but he did know there was no going back.

Speaking of going back, the moment he paused to look around who should he see but SilverFlash. She most likely wished she could go back and redo her entrance.

He stood there, soaked to the bone and dripping as if he were melting, and simply looked at her, sides heaving. Where could she have come from?

Snorting, he trotted through the flying droplets, no longer the least bit fascinated by play or glittering diamonds. He bowed and hooked his nose under her leg, leveraging her up on her feet and making her lean on him a moment so he could glance at the rather prominant bruise on her leg.

And he tried his best to quail the feeling of regret that rose up to stick in his throat.

"Well, it looks like you won't be splashing arond any time soon. If you're not careful it'll get stiff and swollen from all this abuse."

Re: Mixed Up Matchings [Open]

(( Sorry for the wait, will post soon. :( On Monday and Tuesday i am really busy and depending, sometimes Thurs. Two out of the three are 90 minutes of soccer game and practice.))

Silverflash looked up through her tangle of yellow mane too see the blue stallion making his way over to her. She took a deep breath and nickered a very quit, "Hi." She felt totally embarrassed with such an entrance and her current state. She was a mess and worst of all she now need help, which she didn't like, she never wanted to burden anyone. It should be her helping, not the other way around.

She lost her breath for a minute as Sparkle helped her to her feet, her cheeks now burning bright red with embarrassment, but hopefully hidden by her mane and forelock. She was glad though that he was there, since her right leg was throbbing in pain, not as bad as right after she injured it, but it was still very sore. She tensed, but knew it was all she could do, as she let her side touch his as she leaned on him for support. She turned and looked at him, "Thanks," she said in an almost inaudible voice.

Avoiding the hole, the black mare took off after her friend as is he was shot out of a canyon. She ate up the earth and only slowed when she spotted Silverflash and Sparkle. She jogged up to the silver mare's other side. "Silverflash are you alright? I told you not to run on it so soon after a fall like that," she said inspecting the bruise. She lifted her head and looked at her mate, "Thanks Sparkle," she said in her normal sweet voice. Her eyes were once again a glow at seeing him, but they also showed concern for her bond-sister.

Silverflash heard the pounding on hooves approach and sighed a little relief, letting a tiny tension leave her. She was glad to see the black mare and now felt confident again, well as much as she could in her state. She could not act nervous when two serians she knew where by her sides. Her pastel eyes flickered to Amber, "Yes. I am," she said her voice louder but still like a small breeze. "Sorry..." she let her head fall, she let them down. She had gotten injured and would ruin their fun.

Amber sighed in relief, she was ok. Though Silverflash's next words puzzled her, "Sorry for what?" She dropped her head to the height of her friends and nudged her. Her star eyes once again full of concerned and worry.
