Re: A Tigress in Disguise

My but she certainly was a bouncy one.

He found his hooves shifting slightly as she circled, the energy catching. This other, though, this Trite helped him to stay grounded a bit, his body settling after a few moments of restlessness.

"I seem to have a habit of wandering, to be perfectly honest. My hooves brought me here and so here I stand."

He flicked his tail, eyes bright with merriment, and smoothly side-stepped out of Exotic's little pacing circle. Somehow it felt more like a predator than a hyper filly when she did that.

"You've each met two new companions, in any case. What had you planned next?"

Exotic stopped in mid-prance. "I don't know!" she said in a curiously worried way, like as if the world depended on her knowing what she had planned to do next. She dropped the two hooves she still had in the air and turned to the two stallions, looking concerned.

"What do you think we should do?" Big liquid eyes, gazed at the pair of stallions through long, delicate lashes.

In truth she had some ideas, but it wouldn't do to voice them...

"I...would not know."

It was the truth. He had grown up without a notion of any of this 'play' that seemed so common in this land. He looked to the mare instead - if any would be an expert on activity, it seemed to be her. Hopefully it wouldn't be as...damaging as before.

He was one who was willing to give second chances.

Re: A Tigress in Disguise

Sparkle wondered if this was a new outlook on that old saying "what will be, will be." Only in their case it was "What happens will happen."

"Well as nobody seems to have a real plan, what do you say we see what happens together. Walking or playing a game or whatever comes to mind first."

Tossing his short mane, he looked at the semi-panicked mare and offered a comforting smile before stepping a little closer to Trite. As neither of them seemed to know how to go about this he figured he might as well step up and show them a good time, if nothing else.

Re: A Tigress in Disguise

"Well, if no one can decide then I will. Let's play tag..." as she said this she pokes Trite (on his uninjured side) with her nose and exclaimed, "...and you're it!"

And then she was off. Given her short legs she was surprisingly swift, even though she had to work a little harder than the others to make her way through the tall grasses. And where her speed might not be enough, her agility made up for it, allowing her to turn on a dime and to evade even the fastest pursuer. And she couldn't even be sure yet if the red stallion had started to move!

One wonders at what the little stripped mare was thinking when she chose Trite as "it", after all, it was clear that tag wasn't exactly his cup of tea.

Re: A Tigress in Disguise

Tag? Oh, yes - something like a hunting game, as Avalir had explained it. He snorted slightly. How could he not have seen this coming? But this was what it meant to 'socialize' he supposed, and he was a foreigner in their lands - best to follow their culture, however odd.

Besides, it was not as if he were slow in the least.

He took off, running the parallel line between the mare and the stallion. He wasn't sure which of them he should 'tag' yet. As far as he knew Sparkle hadn't moved and it would be dishonorable not to give him a chance. But Exotic already had an early start, which would make pursuit quite difficult, especially if he wanted to take care of his wing. So he took the middle road, waiting for his tactical advantage.

He had been taught the art of strategy, and even though this was no war or conflict, he still could treat it as such.
