Pauseing to make sure no one was where Amy was going to dive, she flew a little higher and looked once more. Ok, no ones there. 3, 2, 1, go! Plumeting down Amy thought quickly and tried to slow down a little just for safety, but still go fast enough to make a big splash. Then something caught her eye, a human. Amy had heard horrible stories but she thoght that most where because they had never seen a griffin before and attacked in self-deffence. Songhue didnt attack so this human must be okay. Then, realizing she was still falling, Amy looked once more tward the fastly riseing ground and tucked her chin close to her chest with her arms strait out in front. 3, 2, 1, Now!, Amy thought quickly and inhaled a large breath.

Circling back up to the surface Songhue studiously ignored the resounding waves that rocked the waters she swam in. She'd learned from Sparkle that there were some you could simply do nothing about.
"If you don't mind Poison, how'd you get this ability? Since you don't act like a human I'm assuming there's something that sets you apart."
With a little titter she flipped over and swam lazily out to where Amy was surfacing, offering her a splash in the face in responce to her worthwhile dive. She could go through the motions of play without meaning them, and while she didn't know either of these two very well yet she did at least want to make an effort. They were, after all, saving her from boredom.

Smiling at Amy and slightly shaking her head Ivy continued on. "Well I think it's the fact that I'm a human, most people dont trust them. In fact, I haven't spent much time around others as a human. I mostly am in human form when I'm off by myself, enjoying the peace." She thought of the many times that she had enjoyed swimming in the cool of the lake and shade of the forests. "I believe I was born a shifter, I don't really know though. I never knew my parents, I was adopted when I was a baby and when I started shifting they got freaked out and left me." A tiny tear slipped out of the corner of her eye at this memory. "After they left I decided I didn't want to go through it again so I've been on my own ever since." She waded out into the water and swam under for a minute then came up again, hopeing she hadn't scared the others away.
Swiming dizzily back to the surface, Amy decided to sit out for a while untill her world stopped spining and the floor felt stable enough to walk on. One thing was sure, Poison was an acceptable human and she seemed to be nice and gentle even with an awful past like that. Songhue was right, this was a time for relaxing and cooling off, not for the past to catch up with you.

Poison felt happier than she had in a long time. She had actually met someone who didn't seem to mind that she was a human. Yes!!! She swam until she was tired and then found a ledge in the water that was perfect to sit on and still be waist deep in the cool water. Could it be that she had finally found friends?
