OOC| Psh, no hate for you!

BIC| Another head tilt, this one in confusion. The fluff ball had seemed happy at first - just for a moment. Then, out of the blue, she was curled up as small as she could get and trembling all over. She'd kept a cap on her energies, something that was beyond astonishing - typically, whenever the little one had any sort of strong emotion she projected so strongly that it came across as an attack. For the moment, however, Songhue had absolutely no idea what was going on with the cub.

Batty? What's up? You don't want to be his?

She shuddered again, unwilling to tell her sister and be chided for her worries. But ignoring her would only bring more trouble. She weighed the pros and cons for a minute before hesitantly uncurling herself and staring down at anything but her sister.

I do want to be his. I can't think of anyone more suitable to raise me and living with him would be wonderful. But I'm afraid he won't want me. That he just misses the cub he lost and is trying to get her back through me. And that when he realizes I'm not her, he won't even be able to stand the sight of me anymore. The tears pooled and her voice wavered slightly near the end. It sounded ridiculous even to her own ears, but her and logic didn't always speak the same language. She was just a little ball of emotional light after all.

Blink. Blink, blink.

Well, then.

Mmh. I'm sure I don't even have to say that you sound like an idiot. But answer me this - has he acted like that would even be a possibility in any way? Yeah, he mated badly, yeah, his ex and cub were killed in the break. But has he taken you for granted? Ever? Take this fear of yours and apply it to him, personally. Not just the idea of him, the facts, but the way he actually is. Can you honestly see the male you know doing that? Do you know him so little?

Stretching out, she flopped her head on her paws and half closed her eyes. Utterly ridiculous, that's what this was. She had to have taken his actual personality entirely out of the picture.

She paused at that. ............ This would be the downside of an over active imagination. She grinned up at her sheepishly and said the first thing that came to mind. Oopsies?

Yipping out a laugh, the kitsune reached over with a paw and tucked the fluffball under her chin.

That was so cute it's illegal, she chuckled, I have to restrain you.

With a quick lick - which, considering the little one's size covered the bat's entire body - she rested the tip of her chin on the lil bat's head for a moment. Silly little thing.

Letting go, she nudged her stomach with her nose and offered a foxxy grin. Now that you're ready, now that you've been prepared, we can start the adoption ceremony whenever you want. Just find me.

With that, she stood, stretched and jumped off her perch. The tips of her tails flickered for a moment before vanishing around a boulder - either the bat would need time to herself, or else she'd find a fluffball hovering near her ears within moments. Few things were as fun as a good chase - to run for the joy of it. Or in the bat's case, to fly.

On her own or together, either way it was high time for this kitsune to stretch her legs.

She continued sitting there giggling for a moment. She loved being "restrained". After gathering herself she flapped her wings and lifted off following her sister's general direction. It took her a moment to catch up, partially because of her sister's speed, partially because it took so long to stop giggling, and partially because her wings were kinda stiff and sore from staying still for so long. She landed in between her shoulders and quickly squeaked out It's just me, Batsy! Please don't eat me! She knew her sister would only attack her and eat her out of reflex because she was startled. At least, she was pretty sure. Oh well. If she did it wouldn't be without a good reason. After she realized she wasn't sliding down her sister's esophagus, she flew up on top of her head next to her ear. I'm ready to start the adoption ceremony. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she was finding it hard to breathe she was so nervous. But, she was ready.
