The End Battle

this was not ging to be easy. singing the luliby was easy because it took little to no magic, even as many times as she'd sung it. but the changing of others, the rearranging everything into different forms, that took a good bit of magic and a lot of strength. if a human tried it they would either die from the drain or become so weak they would need a month's rest. and each creature that crossed them put a greater and greater drain of their resources. if they tried an all in one they might - might - succeed, but if they did it would kill even them.
by the time doubt started to surface in the minds of their friends the Shadow Shifters had become seriously tiered. they were weak and sore, and continued by sheer force of will. they were helping the cosmos but there were none to help them. and what's worse--Nico's instinct screamed for even more energy, for them to not only stand on shuddering legs but to run and tackle with them as well. they would try. at best they might become permenatly crippled but they still had to try.
if you'll think about it i never told you their condition so i'm not cancelling myself out.
