OOC: NP... It just forced me to think a little... Something I'm not always used to. ;) *passes you some choco donuts while we watch the match betweens wolves* I was hungry and it's not polite not to share.

BIC: *Storm felt the teeth grab at her leg at the same time as she lunged forward... the razor sharp teeth of the other one hurt but she didn't cry out; merely bit at the other's exposed romp to get her to let go... though admittedly being ham-strung wasn't her idea of a good time.*
"I'm not Normally one for back biting butt...." *she grinned slightly and nipped at the furry backside of the other*

OOC| Okies, thinking is a pain :) *Takes donuts and offers choco milk and cookies*

BIC| She has a cute grin, Songhue thought helplessly. The small fire that came with the bite knotted her muscles and she rolled sideways to get to Wolfy's ribs. The flesh was thinnest there, the bone visable and close to the teeth that scraped for them.

"You can't really have a norm in fighting," she observed through the fur that was occasionnaly visable through her mouth. "It leaves a weakness for others to discover. You're very good by the way, I've learned a bit from this."

Complements weren't something that came easy for her. She always felt that she had to be the very best since she was the only one left of her family, and to admit that another was better or even a fair match brought the expectation of gloating or insults. The world could be a hard place to live.

Yet these words had come naturally, only more proof that this wolf was earning love and respect from someone who usually kept it guarded. The thought brought forth a fierce wind that wrapped around the both of them, circling and waiting for someone to fall in so they might get tossed into a wall. It added interest to the fight, which was admittedly fun.

OOC: Oye, sorry for the delay... Got a new comp and have been having a muddle getting all the junk I had on the Old one on to this one. Wish I knew how to network or wha'ver it is the two and save mearse some work. :out:
*shares some pretzel rods too and pudding* Might as well make it a picnic while we're at it! ^_^

BIC: "Ooch!" She couldn't help the startled yip at the rib-nick. She rock-side stepped. She looked very much like she was going to tip over sideways even though it was a common move for her... Sidling and side stepping was something she was fair at doing in order to dodge. She landed hard with the side closest to the other lowered to protect her underbelly.
"Thank you. Considering how out of shape and practice I am, the fact I'm still standing is praise enough." She chuckled rubbing one fore leg against the nick in her ribs to rid herself of the sting.

OOC| Ohhhh, pudding! Thanks, I love picnics. :) Don't worry about the delay, I'm a patient person most of the time. Wish I could help with the comp prob. though. :(

BIC| That does it. Songhue admitted with a smile of her own (if she was still able to laugh she probably would have) I love her. She's my new sister, she just doesn't know it yet. I'm going to have to tell Poison about her.

She also had to admit that that was a clever move. She paused only long enough to give a happy smile, and to let how she truly felt show in her eyes which were usually guarded. Then she half jumped and half dove, going for her partner's back in the very center where her spine was closest to the surface. She was right on target, something she was always careful about, so if there was a dodge she'd still get in a goot cut. If this were a real fight she'd probably move with the dodge since she'd have been using her claws to dig into the flesh and hold, but it was just sport so it would most likely just glance off this older fighter.

ooc: Argh... I couldn't think of a reply until now! :sulk:
No worries... I'll either figure out the solution or find somebody who can answer it for me. Ya know.... My usual strat. ;)
*passes you some Christmas peppermint brittle as a prezie* Happy Holis! Well, when you read this I hope you'll have had happy ones anyway. ^_^

bic:
Storm's spine and back spasm and tingle at the attack... Her back goes into an uncontrolable sway-back form before she can manage to roll away. It takes a minute for her to get the feeling back through the 'feeling like her body fell asleep' tingles. The fur along the gash the attack made is getting sticky from the blood welling out of the wound.
"Eeeyouch... Good hit." She really has no other way to respond at this point because she needs to concentrate on getting her limbs under control again... She lets her body drop to the ground and waits for the other younger one to come in for the kill... She knows there's no way she can get back up in time to stop her or even defend herself any more than trying to crane her head around to snap her teeth at her.
She has a pretty good idea she's sunk and wonders why in thunder she ever thought she could make it through a fight like this.
Then realizes she never thought she would... she only wanted to get to know the other wolf and the other seemed to really want this. So there was her answer... She lost and would undoubtedly have failed making a new aquaintance here because she just was never very good at fighting.
She sighed and braced herself for the likely pain she was about to get but refused to flinch or even close her eyes and just watched and waited for the killing bite with out rancour or fear in her eyes.

OOC| *luffs and takes out picnic basket to grab fried chicken* I got a break at my Granma's so here's a little bite 'till the next one. Hope it all works out with the finding someone to fix it for ya thing.

BIC| Concerned, Songhue steps forward and gently tries to help Wolfy to her feet. She hadn't rolled at quickly as she'd thought she would and the Suroth had turned to a Glackroth. She slipped on the blood though as she almost had the older fighter on her feet, not one to be able to voice concern but only show it. The wind that had constantly ruffled her fur gave just the right circumstances for her to lose her balance and fall into the swirling wall her emotions had created.

She was flung high and far, her side hitting near the rafters with a dull cracking sound and a sharp thund as she landed on the floor. The impact was enough to rid them of the wind that had set the boundries for their fight, but Songhue didn't get up. She lay there, panting roughly and wondering at the Fates that would let her wind up where she was. It was fitting though. She'd hurt Wolfy more than she'd meant to and so the Fates had let her hurt in turn.

She just needed someone to help her clear her head so it wouldn't kill her as well. If she could remember the words, if she could ask the Fates for help, if she could just get that rib out of her lung....She had to hope Wolfy would know to go to her. Funny how Songhue had expected to recieve a beating at the hands of her elder. She couldn't help but wonder why the wolf had gone so easy on her. Irony sure was funny. She didn't feel much like laughing though.
