Wolfy was starting to relax, and that, in all honesty, helped Songhue get a feel of what the mood was. It also helped her to relax. She didn't like trouble, had a rule against it in fact, but she would fight if she had to. She just hated to have to.

It was nice to have someone you could feel safe with. Or, at least, you felt could understand who you were and accept you for it. It'd been a long day, and extremely interesting at that. She'd made herself a new friend she'd always cherish, and had helped her make a new friend in turn. It would have usually taken.......too long to think of.

As the little mouse tittered to her babies, Songhue gave a soft, half smile, still feeling slightly ill from the overflow of emotion that was reaching her. It was a long time since she herself had been an emotional creature. Still, she did feel a kind of peace with her new sister.

Storm continued to listen with half an ear to the mouse and day dream of what her family at home might be doing... She tried to think of what she could take back as gifts to everyone making mental notes of who would appreciate what.

Stretching, Songhue climbed up to her large, padded paws and shook herself lightly. Wolfy's mind was wandering, that much was clear, and she herslef had work to do at home. Mostly longs to move, and homes to repair after Nature had her way, but there was still work that she could use as an excuse. She had a rather distinct feeling that her friend had her own agenda as well.

"I think I'll go on now," she murmured, and gave one last stretch before shimmering into a whippoorwill. "Have fun with the family, Wolfy. I think I should get on now."

And with that she took to the sky, floating up near the branches of the tree that had just given her shade before heading south, and home.

Storm barely nods to the fae before deciding that the best option would be to perhaps take the mouse and her family home with her to live in the barn where the Buenunas can keep watch over them and protect them.
Hummm... Perhaps that will be the best gift of all... New friends from a different world.
She whispers her request to the mouse then shifts her front paws into hands again holding a cozy safe little pouch for the mouse to travel with her family in. Ever so gently, she helps the excited little mother and her eight little babies into the pouch then with a small smile and a chuckle, a rose wood DA appears and takes her home to her own world, mouse family and all.
