So I was right about that one Mcderth thought to himself. He had no intention of letting down his guard. When she called him a creature he couldn't help but smile to himself. This one is a bit of an annoyance isn't she? Ah well she'll be easy enough to ignore.

As they where waiting for the others to come down to the shore he sat up. After stretching for a moment he reached out his right arm, hand open and palm up. For a few moments nothing happened. Than from out of no where something that looked like a handmade walking stick appeared balanced in his hand. Closing his fingers around the smooth wood of his short staff he felt slightly better. He couldn't figure out why it took him so long to call it to him, but it didn't much matter. He didn't plan on being here much longer anyway.

When the others made it down he was a little more prepared to meet them. With a quick nod he addressed them. I'm Mcderth, and as lovely as this little trip has been I'm afraid I have work to do. Closing his eyes he drew upon the natural powers within himself. Calling to his home plain he dissapeard from the shore and headed away from this odd plain they called 'The foothills'.

Suddenly there was a flash of light before him and he found himself falling. With a stream of curses flowing from his lips Mcderth hit the surface of the water again. Bobbing up and down in the center of the lake he couldn't begin to figure out what was going on. This is going to be one of those days.

Keira was taken by suprise when he disappeard again. How did he do that? Suddenly he fell from the sky again, landing right in the center of the lake. For a moment she was to shocked to say anything but as the shock wore off she felt a giggle rise up in her throat. Before she knew it she was laughing uncontrollably, holding her side and trying to catch her breath.

"Well I guess that one didn't work out quite how he had planned." She told Songhue and Kyra, shaking her head and staring out into the lake, waiting for him to come to shore again.

Kyra stopped beside Keira and looked down at the stranger. She was surprised and not, when the wooden staff appeared in his hand. 'I could have figured, magic. Makes sense to why we appeared out of thin air,' she thought looking the man over. So when he disappeared again, she wasn't surprised. Though she had thought he was gone and did not to expect to here him hit the water again.

She turned to Keira, "I believe you are right," her voice going a little higher at the end. She was trying so hard not to laugh, but with her new friend laughing too, she couldn't help it. She started laughing so hard, that she could barely catch her breath.

I felt good to laugh and it was even better to hear her new friends laughing with her. She tried to catch her breath but they came in short gasps. She wiped the tears from her eyes as her laughs turned into little giggles.

"I dont think this is his day. Is it just me or do you think he might be a wee bit grumpy when he gets back?" She asked with a little giggle and a smile still pasted on her face.

Kyra was finally able to get control of her laughing and now it only came in short giggles. Sure, she had totally embarrassed herself, but since she was not the only one, it didn't bug her much. It had been a long time since she had such a good laugh with people. Sure, she had plenty with her serians and animals, but none lately with the human end.

She was slowly able to stop laughing, but Keira's new comment send her back into another cycle of not being able to breath laughing. She looked at her, "I do believe you are right! Falling into a lake twice in one day, when not planned would put anyone in a bad mood. As well as girls laughing uncontrollably at the situation, does help the matter," she said though giggling and gasping for air. She was holding her sides since they hurt from laughing.

She simply raised a brow, a small smile twisting the corner of her lips. He was a typical male, it seemed.

"He is highly amusing, I must admit.. What creature is this that falls into lakes with a string of curses to color the air?"

Shaking her head, she looked to Kyra and Keira, still making an effort to hold her tongue on a certain subject.

"In all truth, it was rather rude to attempt to wrinkle away without explanation.. He rather deserves to be all wet."

Flicking her wings, she settled on a large stone and watched, intrigued for the moment. What strange beings had she met, this day?
