OOC: Aaaaaah, holy crap i missed some stuff. Sorry i was gone so long, training at work was killin me. Welcome Vineda, glad you came to our psycotic little story.

BIC: Keira looked at Kyra to answer her question. "They are well. Lothorien has been off on his own for a while, he has some things he would like to sort through. He has mention recently that he's thinking about coming back and getting more aquainted with the others here. He really doesnt know anyone besides his mate, Flit. Pixie is doing very well if I do say so myself. He and Path are off spending some quality time together. They left me right before I came here to swim. And poor starlight is off roaming the forests, trying to get a feel for the lands around here. I know she can take care of herself but I just worry."

She sighed as she watched Songhue turn into an owl and take off. What was that girl up to now. Then, she noticed the sky. The sun had just finished dipping below the horizon and the chill in the air was begining to grow. "Kyra, what do you say we go find a sheltered spot and build a little fire to continue this conversation?"

Kyra smilied, "That is good. I hope Lothorien does come and meet the others, I would love to meet him. Amber has seen him in the past but never exchanged words at the time," she said thinking of how her black Amber had grown so much from the time she had found her. "That is good Pixie and Path getting to spend some quality time together. Also for Starlight, I think she will be fine, though I have not met her. Where about is she wondering? Since I Crash is off tracking and following forest streams and water ways."

She glanced over at the fairy and watched her shape shift into a beautiful owl and take flight. 'I wonder where she is off too?' she thought as she watched her friend take higher to the air. She turned back to Keira when she spoke and nodded, "I agree. All we need is to find a sheltered spot and try kindle, I can take care of starting the fire." She said, her sky blue eyes dancing. She loved using her gift to help others.

Keira wandered to the bottom of the cliffs and found a sheltered spot. One that went back a little ways. She looked around for sticks and kindling piling them on a spot at the mouth of the little cove. "What do think about right here?" she asked Kyra.

[Thanks, Keira!! Hope to meet ya soon! :)]

Still in the meadow where she had met Songhue, Vineda was content. She watched as the sun descended to hide behind the land for another night, leaving behind a glowing sky.

“Songhue is a beautiful name, and the pleasure is all mine.” She took an apple and a tiny knife out of a small bag slung across her shoulder, cut a piece, and offered it to the top of her hair. Her words were taking a break during the quiet dusk descending between day and night.

She could not tell if she was being made fun of for her speech, but she did not care. It felt silly speaking as the Elders did in her own land but it sounded so beautiful when done right that it was worth the sometimes painful practice, and it was easy to laugh at when she made mistakes.

It was also difficult to tell whether Songhue meant to twitch her tail every so often or if it was a necessary action as a squirrel. Or maybe both. Either way it brought forth fresh laughter often. She had her revenge as a small, every-so-often shift of the head, though never so much as to come near dislodging the animal. She was sure she looked very silly with a squirrel atop her head, but the presence was comforting as well as entertaining. It might be interesting if she were to approach the group and attempt to introduce herself with the squirrel headdress still in tact… Enough of these musings, she thought, as she realized her face was hurting from grinning constantly.

“Are we to join this group then?” She was eager to meet this group, especially as it seemed they were friends or at least acquaintances of Songhue. She also wanted to learn more of this Sionayra.

Focusing on the shore, she was surprised to realize that she could no longer see anyone where the group had been earlier. “Oh. We’re too late…” she mused aloud, wondering internally Now what?

Kyra followed her new friend, "Yes, I think here is good," she said looking at the spot Keira had picked out. She too, had also picked up the most dry kindling she could find and piled it with her friend's, "So are we ready to start the little fire?"

Keira looked down at the little pile of sticks that she had gatherd. "Hang on just one more sec." She ran off to where a bunch of dead trees had fallen. Selecting a few dried logs that wernt to huge but were big enough to get the job done she ran back to Kyra. Dropping the logs by the pile she grinned at her new friend. "Ok, all ready."
