“Pleased to see you here, Kyra!” Vineda replied enthusiastically. Still on her guard but doubting she needed to worry about danger from these others, she relaxed and stepped from the shadows.

“I’m sorry if I interrupted your wanderings, but there is just something about the air tonight that made me go in search of adventure. Don't let me keep you if you've places to go or things to do... or should you just plainly like to be in peace.”

To the one still hidden, she said softly, “Come, come. We mean no harm. I am still new in these lands and would love to meet you. You needn’t stay long if it is not your wish, but I should like to make your acquaintance. ‘Tis a fair night for making friends.”
