Angel turned to stare at him thoughtfully, "I don't exactly have a place to go, I figured I would just sleep outside for now."Glancing over at Vineda, she said in a soft voice, "Is there places to stay around these parts?" The sun had started to completely set, and the sky was darkening as the twilight faded out of the sky.
Stars had started to pop out, their bright diamond like shine, scattering across the night sky. The air was starting to cool, Angel shivered slightly drawing her tail closer around her and her wings closer to her.

"I soared through the trees and the clouds." Vineda beamed at the memory. "And consorted with the stars a bit as the sun began its descent." If there were other adventures, she left them out for the moment. She'd expended much energy on her little adventure, but she had such a feeling of peace draped over her at the moment that she hardly noticed.

"I am not one for hunting much, not really. The hunt can be thrilling, but I've found anymore that once I make the kill I rarely feel the desire to eat." She shrugged; no big deal.

"There are many places outdoors; if you wish to sleep here no danger is likely to befall you. I've done so often in the past. There are more sheltered areas as well, and you are always welcome at my cottage." She replied to Angel in a gentle tone, soothing, as something in the other's tone sounded frightened or lonely.

Waterlily nuzzles Angel's side and utters, *You have friends now. You will never be alone.* He quickly runs off while transforming into his human form in a brilliant flash of blue light. After several minutes have passed, Waterlily returns with a stack of firewood and two rocks. He stacks the wood in an ideal pattern for burning brightly. While swiping the two rocks together to create a fire spark and smiling, he utters, *It would be nice to know of One with the ability to manipulate fire.* After several tries he finally lights the tinder. With several well placed breathes of air the fire begins to burn and you can already feel its warmth.

*Come friends. Be warm.* In another flash of blue light he transforms back into his fox form and curls up next to the soon to be roaring fire. He glances at Angel to see where she will lay for the evening.

Angel smiled as she felt Waterlily's warm muzzle brush against her fur, watching him build the fire in his human form she tilted her ears back slightly, for she had almost forgotten how much she disliked humans, but she quickly corrected herself and thought of all that had happened today, this was one of the first times in a long time that she could remember, were she felt safe and protected, grinning she bounded forward to the newly lit fire, wagging her tail back and forth she said in a light voice, "Thank you for your hospitality Vineda." The warmth of the fire felt good on her fur as she curled up a little ways away from Waterlily.

Vineda watched Waterlily disappear with interest, wondering where he was off to now. When he came back and got to making a fire she perked her ears. It was odd watching someone do the task she normally completed on her own every evening.

"You're very welcome, Angel. It is good to feel safe and to know that you're not alone. I'm glad you're here, both of you." As the fire grew she settled into her own spot a ways away from the fire, curling up into a ball with her tail around her nose. She was in a quiet mood, relaxing after her day of flying and letting her fur absorb and trap the heat from the fire.

Waterlily gets up and moves a little closer to Angel. He turns a few times settling into a curled up position next to her. *Angel. One is curious if there are any others like you? Are you the last of your kind?* Waterlily hopes the time they have spent has reassured her that he is a friend. *One would like to hear the story of your past if you wish to tell it.* His ears perk up and face forward to listen.

Waterlily glances over at Vineda to see what form she has settled with. Her fox form was quite pretty, but he was hoping she would become human again. He wanted to resume the joyful petting that took place earlier. As he relives the moment in his mind a rather large smile appears on his face.
