OOC| There is no rush. One can understand being busy.

BIC| As Angel approaches waterlily on his right, he is impressed at the speed with which she caught up to him. When he first met her and saw those beautiful white wings, he was curious if she could fly as fast as he could run and now he knows. She may be faster than him, but he will do all he can to now let it show. As she snaps at him and quickly pulls away, he turns to her and smiles.

Waterlily intensely enjoys the hunt, but to be able to share it with another makes the experience that much more gratifying. He hasn't been able to compete in this way in a long time. His senses are at their highest. Miles ahead he spots one of these Diricawls. As he approaches he leaps high into the air in an effort to surprise the bird. As he comes down, the bird just barely sees him and disappears.

Waterlily growls in anger. *Fast little birds they are.* Seconds later he sees a disturbance in the trees a half mile down the mountain. He rushes towards it, slowing up as he sees the bird. The mountains are covered by dense trees. he slowly creeps up on the bird who appears to be digging for worms.

Angel grinned a toothy grin as she saw the little bird pick at the worm, banking her wings and drawing them in close together she slammed to the earth then dove back up, curving back and landing a few feet away her price dangling from her mouth. Quickly snapping its neck she laid it down and smiled at Waterlily, "Looks like I just might have beat you to that one*

The wind stirred up sending new scents flowing to them, Angel tilted her nose up and caught the scent she had earlier, a roe deer was in the woods and close to. Her mouth watered as she smelled his warm scent. Tilting her head down to her kill, her little fangs breaking through the feathers and soft skin of the bird.

Waterlily smiles back at Angel as she stands proud above her kill. Though she beat him to the bird, he was happy to have had the chance to hunt. As the scent of this roe passes before him, he immediately dashes in that direction. The scent fills the air as he approaches. The deer attempts to run when he hears waterlily racing towards him. Too bad the deer is not fast enough.

One swipe of his paw and the deer goes careening into a tree. Waterlily is upon him within seconds and snaps his neck in several crunching bites. The deers heart still beats as waterlily takes his first bite of his warm fleshy chest. It is only in this form that he can truly enjoy fresh raw meat. As he sits down near the dear he continues to feast on its bloody carcass.

After finishing her own meal, she walked over to where Waterlily sat feasting on his kill. Sniffing the deers head she moved over to its neck and started to tear into the soft flesh that was already exposed, its sweet blood and meat filled her mouth, she filled her belly then walked away licking around her muzzle to clean her face off. Stopping under a tree she laid down waiting for him to finish. The sun had finally come all the way out of the clouds, enjoying its warmth and light she turned her head and started to groom her fur, pulling out any traces of blood or grass. As she continued the grooming process she wondered if they needed to bring back some of the kill for Vineda.

*That was truly a delicious hunt. One thanks you for the opportunity.* As he finishes stripping most of the meat from the deer, he sits up and begins to groom himself. As he cleans his paws and muzzle, he takes notice of Angel as the sun hits her fur and wings. She is quite the unique creature. He wants to know more about her, but fears she may not wish to talk about it just yet.

Maybe he was high off the feast he just partook of or maybe the Alpha in him was amplified in this form, but waterlily gets up and walks up to Angel and then slowly passes her on her right side. He does this very slowly, so that he can take in a good amount of her scent. He makes sure not to openly sniff her, as that would be rude and he keeps his tail pointed down and away to not give the appearance of domination.

*We should get back to Vineda?* He takes off back towards the stream.

Closing her eyes enjoying the warm sun, she felt the presence of Waterlily coming closer to her, opening her eyes and watching him warily she rose to her feet when he passed by, unfurling her wings the sun catching the bright silver and white feathers giving the illusion that they glowed, raising her tail, her crimson colored eyes shimmered warmly as she stepped forward nodding in agreement, "Should we bring back some of the kill?"
