BIC| In a brilliant flash of blue light Marrok's body disappears. It seems a friend has taken him to heal his wounds and restore his soul to his body. Things never truly die. Their energy is recycled by nature. His friend had owed Marrok a debt for saving his life once. That debt has now been re-payed. In another flash of blue light Marrok is standing over the spot where his body was just laying.

For him, it has only been minutes since his untimely death, but in actuality, it has been much longer. Wherever he was taken, time moved much differently. He was sent back at the exact moment he was taken. His friend does not posses the ability to heal, instead he invoked a transformation of Marrok from man to beast and during this transformation the healing was done. Once the body was healed the soul could return. Marrok's purpose kept his soul nearby and restoring it was easy enough.

As Marrok regains his sight he sees before him a fiery wolf with flames of yellow, orange and red and an almost completely obliterated bee hive. *Do I have you to thank for destroying the hive and saving my life? I really don't remember much after falling asleep. My name is Marrok, what's yours?*

Having seen the flash of blue light emerge from the body of the stranger, Athena immediately jumped back from the hive, the flames surrounding her body blazing brightly as she gazed at the spot were the wounded one had been. She wondered silently to herself if she had come across him to late. Moments later he reappeared and seemed to be gathering his senses, baring her fangs she growled under her breath in relief that he seemed to be fine.

Her fiery coat dying down as she relaxed, she replied in a happy voice, "I don't think it is I who you need to thank for bringing you back from the land of the past, but I did take care of the nuisance bug." Snorting at the hive that lay at her feet, "My name is Athena, its a pleasure to meet you Marrok." Tilting her ears forward in curiosity she added, "I'm glad I made it in time."

Without thinking Marrok steps forward and ruffles Athena on her head and says, *Thank You for the help you did provide.* If you are wondering why his hand does not get burned on her fiery fur, it is because magic has no effect on Marrok. He is a magical creature that is immune to others magic. This means he cannot be killed by magic, but also he cannot be healed by magic. His own magical abilities are all that affect him.

As he gathers his belongings Marrok asks Athena, *Do you want to grab something to eat? It is the least I can do to repay your kindness. I feel like I haven't eaten in a week.* As he walks by he steps on and squashes what is left of the hive and smiles. He always has to have the last laugh. *so what manner of magical creature are you Athena?* He begins the trek threw the dense wood towards a small clearing.

Rising from her sitting position and shaking her fur out, she wasn't used to being touched, so she had to resist the temptation of snapping her head to the side and taking a snap at his hand, growling lightly she rose, "No problem."

Stepping to his side, she walked beside him, nodding her head at his offer of food, baring her fangs she replied in a serious voice, "I am a member of the Alogo clan, a wolf that bares the ability to control fire." Her voice gentled as she continued, "What clan are you from?"

The sun was starting to set, making the area light up with the its last rays in the coming twilight, Athena's eye dilated drawing in the suns rays, her fur shimmering and glowing faintly, a fire that burned continually.

As they head into the clearing, Marrok draws his sword and stabs it into a hole in a nearby tree. Removing it reveals two squirrels swiftly killed. He drops the sword into the ground as he runs into the clearing and tosses his knife at what appears to be a fast moving fox. The knife strikes the fox in the head instantly killing it.

As he makes his way back to his sword and the fire-pit he utters, *I am not a part of any clan. I am simply a wanderer. Now how about some fire for our fire?* He begins to skin the squirrels and tosses the fox in front of Athena. *I assume you like your meat raw.* As he begins cooking the meat, he sits back against a rock and starts carving something our of a piece of wood. *Where is the rest of your clan, Athena? Are you alone in this world?*

Marrok does not usually appear to be this friendly, but he does respect honor and this wolf did him an honorable service. The least he can do is to befriend her. She is also a wolf and the secret that Marrok holds, she may understand.
