Foxxfyre and I are keeping regular contact in the mod forum, just to see what we're both up to with life and stuff. We're both overcoming hard and difficult obstacles in our lives with school, real life, friendships and relationships, so it's probably going to be a little while before Foxx really has a lot of time to devote to opening things back up again.

And you know our Foxx, she doesn't like to half-effort things, she's got one Serian finished that she did basically for 'getting into the groove' practice, but she won't officially re-open things until she knows she has the time to devote to it and really get things going strong again. Which I think is a responsible, good decision. I think we can all agree it'd be more frustrating for her to open it for a week just because people are getting impatient and then have to poof again for a month because of real life issues XD.

But yes, rest assured, we're still here lurking... keeping an eye on you guys ;D.

I'm sorry you're both so overwhelmed, I hope everything turns out okay. ^^; And I think you're right, and I'm glad there's still activity. :)

Very well said Tig :) I'm feeling things out, testing the waters, and finding that I still need to fix a few RL things before I start back up again. It is looking, however, like that time may be coming soon-ish. We'll see, and I'll try to let you all know beforehand what's coming :)

As a personal note, might I add that even if the wonderful darlings have stopped cropping up for adoption, things haven't exactly been 'non-active' the whole time. There have been a few posts here and there, and a flash of some sort of life not long ago that's a real sign of hope.

My point is, that no adoptions doesn't mean no activity as you seem to be saying. They're not just collectibles, which is why I love this site so much. When I adopt someone I intend to take real care of them, and that involves RPing. If there was never another Serian adopted out again I still don't think the site would die. Because there's always something to do with the lovelies you have.

And, as previously mentioned, if you haven't any lovelies you can still enjoy your persona and interact with others. To me, adopting a Serian is just like gaining an incredibly close friend; though you may not have such a friend at the moment that doesn't mean you can't befriend others.

So, in a nutshell, be patient and don't freak out. Ok? And maybe ask if they're alright before jumping right into "Hey, did they just up and die?!" :)

I never meant to sound rude, I just wondered if the people who ran the site were still around.
Again I'm glad to here that everything is good
