Yeah, I think the dress I picked out was dress 8 out of 12... I brought my parents with me and that confused the process because they wanted me to try on a bunch of things "just in case I change my mind on ruffles" and such, haha. Gosh I hate ruffles. Ruffles and Roses

If I ever have to get a 'proper' wedding one day to mark an anniversary and make up for eloping, I am going to have about as much trouble as you did with ruffles and roses. xD Especially if they find anything with lace. Frilly-lacy-girly is not me at-all.

Though I think it helps to view it all as a party. Not one For you, just one you're throwing/hosting/ect., to celebrate. A "Hey, they're married! Let's Eat!" thing. xD
