Hehe, I was wondering why the forum was wider than it was before, even the log in page :)

I have soooo many books, if I ever had to move I would probably have to get rid of a lot of them, it would be near impossible to actually move them all!

I took all my books with me XD They were over half of the boxes that I packed, and my fiance used the entire time we packed them to tell me all of the virtues of the Kindle and why I should get one, but to me, nothing is better than a nice solid book for reading ^^ There's just something about turning pages that makes all the pain worth it...

I agree entirely! And the smell ^^ Oh I love the smell of books, too, old and new! I can't wait until I can have a library

The feel. The Feel of the pages, the texture that brushes your fingers as you delve in deeper, the ability to look back and see what three hundred pages looks like, to stick your finger in the middle and flip to the end to see how much more time you have in this land of literature. The feel of their weight in your hand, of the silky cover, the sound of pages rustling, the unique coloring and yes, even scent that each book, each page earns over time with their lifespans varying so drastically. The gentle wear you can see in a well-loved, often read book - to read a book until the cover literally falls off and must be tapped together again, I've done this.

Ah, yes. Give me books, even if they must be given to others in due time. Even if they take up such boxes and boxes when they must be moved. Give me books.

Keep your computers.
