I'm hardly more than a month out from my month long vacation with my hubby to do the family meet and greet, and at the end of that we'll be figuring out what we're doing as far as us finally living together. He still hasn't gotten his official notification of where he's gettin transferred to so most of these details will be extremely last minute and I may wind up coming back here after the vacation while we get things set up - then again I may not.

When all that goes down there's critters to think of. For months the plan had been that I take both dogs and the rabbit. But now it's looking like one of the dogs will be able to stay after all. It had always been thought that without one another, both dogs would just go nuts. I'm sure that when it comes to the one I'm bringing with me I would need to get a puppy to keep away real depression in him, but the other one shows signs of doing fine on his own (because his aggression to strange dogs is considerably lessoned when he's on his own and the one I'm taking with me ain't around). On top of that it looks like the family may actually be able to provide him with the sort of care and structure he needs.

I've gotten really darn attached to him over the passed year or so while I was working with him through my dog training school. Had started looking forward to taking him with us.

But I swear, he can be SUCH a blockhead. xD I give them dentastix each night (thanks, Keira, btw, for that teeth treatment idear) and each night he lays on His bed while my other lays on His bed. Well tonight, the blockhead was on his bed all settled and the other goes right over to his own without any coaxing - they know the drill. Only blockhead has to get up and try to happy-wriggle onto the wrong bed and practically sit on top of the other dog. Why? I don't know! He was all set. So I yoink him back where he's supposed to be and treat him, same as every night, and I really just gotta shake my head. Sometimes I have no idea what's up with this guy!

Haha no problem. I ended up having to cut back on how many Zoey gets because she got to the point where every time I'd open the door she would be all "MUST TREAT ME NOW!!!". Kinda like Snoopy with the wet food :P

Maybe now you can get you a Rottie though :D

lol your dog sounds like my house. My husky gets up from her bed and gets a drink meanwhile the smallest sleeping cat wakes, pounces in the bed and curls back up. My husky comes back and just looks at her and the cat looks back with the 'you left look'. Then the husky walk over to a cat bed and curls up in it, she fits lol
