Allo Fen! I was so excited to see someone else who actually simply stumbled over this place I was quite tempted to tackle you. Literally, other than recruits by friends, I haven't known anyone who accidentally found this place since I did!

It's great to meet you, and I'm looking forward to seeing who your first bonded gets to be! :) And don't listen to Tigs - she's great, you just need to poke her a time or five sometimes.

Oh, it turns out I'm a little too much of a new member to send messages yet. That's cool! Just wanted to make sure that was a function I could eventually do haha.

Hey, Songhue! I actually found this place linked in a very old e-mail and decided to check it out on a whim. Glad I did, so far this seems like a lovely place!

Welcome!! It's so nice to see new people in here, I always love seeing new faces ^^ If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask! We're not currently having regular adoptions (I have a bit of a backlog I still have to go through ^^; ) but we do have quite a few abandoned Serians that are looking for homes. Once you're comfortable with this place, let me know and I'll get you started on your way to Bonding one of them ^^

*edit*

Also, I just removed you from the "new users" group, so you should be able to PM now ^^; Let me know if you can't!

Hello and thank you, Foxxfyre! Loving the site so far, and I've been reading some of the old posts - it's crazy how long this place has been around.

Um, I have a few questions, is it all right if I just post them here?

I was just wondering if this site has an overarching plot to follow? I've been looking at threads and the main page a bit and couldn't find anything specific, but just thought I'd double-check. And second, is the process for adopting an abandoned Serian the same as regular? Either way, I guess I'm going to have to brush up on my HTML haha.

Thanks again for your time, you guys!

Oki, as I literally call this my second home (first being the realm me and my Serians live in), I'm currently around to be the know-it-all. 8D

So, no, no overarching plot, outside of what Foxxy dreams up - such as the LunarPrism adoption thread, the death of Moonwing, ect. Otherwise, it's simple whatever crazy antics our darlin' adopteds get up to! There's angst and humor and drama and love and all kinds of different things, and my favorite bit is when there's special events (like for the coming Halloween) that really helps draw on these things - the classic is the RP adoptions, where you RP for the chance to adopt a Serian that's being posted by either Foxxy or Tigs (usually Tigs lately), to see who they wind up choosing through the thread.

Also, current adoptions work exactly like this thread here:
http://sionayra.com/roleplay/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1310

To find out more about Alters you can check out here for a general list - http://sionayra.com/about/affinities.php

And for more information about Alters themselves, as well as the history of Rhyandrithae, the world this haven of Sionayra resides on, you can look here - http://sionayra.com/about/tale.php

Although as you're clearly doing plenty of research on your own I'm sure you don't need those particular links, but just in case they prove helpful I threw them in.

P.S. - I found this place doing a google search for Horse Games, because of a link to here from a horse based trading card site that had (at one point) had an arrangement for some of their card art to be done by Foxxy - as far as I know, that never reached fruition.

P.P.S. - The previous poster is my little brother and I take full responsibility for him. 8D Actually, I'm really, really proud of him and couldn't help but claim him just now.
