Nope, not that I know of. He's in duty now, can go to school and all that when he's out. Blah.

Hehe, I'm pretty sure that the details of his 'enrollment' were all discussed and ironed out right about valentine's too. Timing is something else, no? :D

That's good, that he didn't join the Army! Otherwise, he'd be away at least 1 year out of 3, which is rough for relationships >< My little brother enlisted in the Navy and he's been gone for about 3/4 of a year, and they have shorter trips than the Army does.

I hope everything works out for him! I hear it's a great career move, if you can get through the rough parts ^^;

He'll be able to get through, no doubt about that. ^^ He enlisted for full time service, though from what one o my aunts tells me (Me aunt Hope) there isn't much base hopping (moving from base to base) in the Guard and there's no worry about him being gone unless he gets deployed for some reason.

It Is hard a relationship, though. Some times you don't want to talk to him, however the method of communication, but simple curl up in his arms and doze off on the couch...

Ah well, hopefully next year we'll do just that for our Valentines. ^^ Or have a picnic... I do so love a picnic.

Oh, I -love- picnics! But none of my friends have ever liked them... so sadly I have been on very few of them >< But I also wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail for summer break once, and nobody would do that either...

Are you going to be living with him once you're married? I know some people that do, and I know others that buy a house and stay put while their husbands go off to wherever they're assigned.

Yup yup! As soon as school's done we're getting hitched and I'm moving in with him. Finding the right follow up school and maybe seeing if there's a need to mess with any job that would have been found at that point (will need to grab a job in the area I'm schooling for to help with the wedding before the big move) can all be done from wherever he's located at that point.

And yesssss, picnics and hikes! Yes yes yes! I could easily make him go with me, he falls asleep (literally) if he's still for too long, so you Really need to find someone to go with! Maybe fly up a few special friends for a special week? ;) Hike the trail, set up a picnic, hike back!
