Into the Darkness...

Take your Serians here to chat or just roam their homeland.
The sun glitters above vast fields ringed by verdant forests to the north, mountains to the south and east, and wide rivers to the west.

Into the Darkness...

Stray was wandering the forest, hoofs pounding the brittle, winter ground. His coat allowed him to blend in with the darkness of sunset, and his striking green eyes glowed as darkness fell.

He was new to this land, and truth be told, he didn't want to be here really. If not for his insane bonded, Butterfly, he would be off on his own somewhere, working on his fighting techniques. But, she did have a point, he didn't get out enough, and he was horribly lonely.

So, here he was, pacing around this strange land, in hopes of finding some sort of companionship. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to exercise while he waited, and began to run in full speed.

Laughing, his mane and tail swept out behind him. His jeweled hooves hit the earth fast, his speed ever getting faster. He loved running, it sent him away from all his troubles.

The Black mare ran through the forest, her main and tail flowing out behind her like a banner of blue. She loved running, but with Kyra busy with school, Peace off paying tag with Dove and Skyracer of on an adventure, she was bored. So she had found Crash almost flying through the waves and bugged him to play with her. He reluctantly said he would play. Then she had dashed off with out any warning into the forest.

Crash could just make out Amber as she ran a head of him. The only reason he hadn't lost sight of her was because her electric blue main and tail witch looked like a banner. He had said we would play and then she just dashed into he forest without him even ready to play. He was still coming out of the waves. "Drat! The forest in Ambers domain!" He knew he had his work cut out for him. He didn't know the forest really well yet.
" Amber! This isn't fair! You didn't even give me a warning that the game had started!"

Amber stopped for a second thinking she heard someone other than Crash. Thinking it was her imagination she flicked her head and started galloping again. She slowed to a canter then a trot when she thought that she heard someone else. " Hello? Is anyone out there?"

Stray halted immediately at the sound of another's voice, causing him to nearly trip in the process. His mane whipped out behind him, before falling back down to his thick neck. "I need to practice that," he said gruffly. That's how he always was, always training, always needed to improve himself. He then instantly remembered the stranger, and forgot his training for today.

As he had never met anyone besides Butterfly, and she was no Serian, he became nervous for a moment. Then, realizing that this creature probably meant no harm, he trotted closer.

"Hello there," Stray called out in his deep voice, eyes bright with interest. He lowered his head in a respectful bow, revealing his bull-like horns even more. His eyes flicked upward, and he marveled at the amazing creature standing just yards away. Oh, but how little he knew of Serians and his kind! Hopefully some encounters like this would strengthen his knowledge.

They were not alone, no, no. The yellowish stallion was standing quietly on top of a hill, gazing down at them curiously. He had changed since his last visit. Now he knew how to talk proper English and his manners were much better.

His personality had been changed a bit as well. Being alone for such a long time had hardened him, flicking his stubbing tail. A bit of his mane was always covering his left eye, horns sticking out from the top of his head.

He had red flares above each hoof, reaching towards his shoulder, which had an odd native marking that seemed to have been put there in perminant marker.

The stallion continued to observe them, yellow eyes glancing at them all in turn.

Stray, growing up alone until he met his bonded, could easily feel the eyes of another on him. With a turn of his head, he spied the newcomer. This Serian looked different than the other, colder, if you will. Stray himself knew better then to introduce himself to such a male, and would wait for the stranger to make himself known.

Stray bowed his head in respect however, always polite, as he was meant to be. Hopefully, this Serian would see him not as a foe, but perhaps a friend. At least not an enemy, Stray thought to himself and chuckled.

Wisp clearly saw the other bow his head. Did he intend to return it? Maybe. A couple minutes went by before he decided, returning the bow with a slight nod of his head, accepting it.

He began to walk slowly forth, looking as if he owned the place, which he didn't, and never would.

His stride was slow and long, so he could cover ground faster, but his movements seemed lagged, as if he were stiff.

Wisp jerked his head to the side, trying to get his wretched mane out of his eye's vision.

When he found himself in hearing distance of the other stallion, he haulted, and gave another nod of his head. "...'Lo..."
