How far south have snowy owls been found?

sorry not posting much, been out watching the ones near my place! 5 of them; 2 juveniles and 3 adults pretty sure female or one male about to go all white and become of breeding age.

That's a fun research project!

Well Its more a hobby lol. Once I figure out how to post images straight from my comp on here I will put my best up!

The answer is Bermuda and Mexico! This year instead of 2/11 eggs in arctic tundra summer reaching flying age all 11 did due to a bumper crop of lemmings! So all over Canada and even USA and further, Snowy owls are appearing to winter down away from the snow.

However, we have had days we were colder than the Arctic lol. A few good double digit temps -13- -24. So not sure how much they are wintering away up here anyway lol

What do you guys think of starting a talent show thread? One where bondeds and lovelies alike can show what they can do.

Many threads end up doing just that i think though sounds like a fun idea ^^
