2nd Gen Renaming

Tigs brought up to me that there are some 2nd generation Serians that don't fit the official naming conventions, and asked if I would be opposed to renaming them if they were abandoned and their new Bonded wanted a more authentic name. An example of a non-conventional name would be Colori di Notte.

So I decided that I'd make a general post and offer a renaming to anyone that wants one. This isn't a requirement at all, so if you like their names that's fine ^^ But if you'd like them changed, let me know and I'll do it for you, as long as:

1) Their name does not current fit the naming convention (two english words, like LunarPrism or Threestrikes)
2) [Nevermind this rule] You were not the original Bonded who named them in the first place :)
3) They are second generation Serians

Just post below and I'll do it ASAP :D

EDIT:

I just went through and can't even find myself where I listed the naming rules ^^;;;; I think I used to send it out when I let people know through email, and then when I started doing it on the forums I never actually put it on the site ^^;;;

So I'll take away the requirement that it has to have been one that was Abandoned, since I failed to actually remind people for a while ><
Sa souvreya niende misain ye... I am lost in my own mind.

*peeks in*
I really like Stardancer and Moondust - not just really nice names, but *really* fitting, I think. :)
*runs away to consult with my darlings*

Edit: After much deliberation, quite a lot of laughter, and a bit more head scratching

Sparkle - Firefly
I think that fits the rules? If not we'll tinker about some more!

Could this apply to wanting to change a conventional name (two English words) to a singular name? Nighttears technically fits the convention, but that double 't' in the middle is a bit weird to type out all the time ^^;; No biggie if that's stretching the offer though--just wanted to check :)

Re: 2nd Gen Renaming

Thanks Songhue! Confusion is giving me a bit more difficulty but the others just really came to me easily so I guess I was inspired :).

I'll wait to see what Foxx says but I'm 99% sure this is meant as a way for people whose 2nd gen names DON'T follow the 2nd gen naming rules to be able to do so ^^. I really like this bit of lore personally hence I suggested it :). The only 2nd gen singular names that are *supposed* to exist are those with extensive reason and backstory, it's not supposed to be a common thing by any means ^^;. I can see Foxx being more inclined to accept it if you replaced his double-word name with a different double-word name!

Re: 2nd Gen Renaming

The lore sounds really fascinating, but I think I must've missed where it was explained ^^;; I feel kind of bad only giving out singular names to the 2nd Gen serians I've got now, but I'll try to adhere going forward
