Lol, I had a really hard time with the second book, I nearly quit reading the series because of it but i liked the other ones pretty well. And no offense taken I'm not one of those girls that wants to marry Edward, I'm happily married already, I just think its a good story. The only problem I had with the movie really wasnt a problem, they just had to cut little things out that were either funny or cute because as it was its a two hour movie. I did think they followed the story line well there were a couple of things that they tweeked but i dont think that hurt it any... but then again i'm not the kind of person who freaks out if every little detail isnt exactly perfect so *shruggs* i'm sure everyone has a different view of it, i dont think everyone will love it... bit i did.
P.S. Ya I dont get people that act like its their bible either, its just a book.

Saw it yesterday. I liked it, not enough to pay that much to see it again in the theaters, but still good. Some minor changes as you mentioned, but still followed the gist of the book. Some special effects did look like they just filmed normal people and then sped them up, but then I have yet to see any movie where a human doing something with inhuman speed, or jumping inhuman distanced looked remotely believable. And it was a refreshing change from the gorefests of most other vampire movies.
I have to admit the guy vampires in the movie didn't look quite human. When Carlisle walked into the hospital room I was like whoa, kinda scary there man, heh. I've seen people complain online that the guy playing Edward wasn't pretty enough. I dunno, but he certainly looked "vampirey" enough. Though poor Jasper always had a "deer in the headlights" look. The girls looked pretty normal though, they were cast really well. And the cooking scene was hilarious ^.^
As to that Bible thing...did you hear that fans were asking the guy that played Edward to bite them?? I mean come one, he's a bloody actor! Some people have difficulty separating fact from fiction apparently *eye rolls* I sort of feel sorry for him, I mean, what does one say to something like that?
I look forward to seeing how they'll handle the werewolves in the next movie...

Re: Twilight
Me too, I hope they do good with the werewolves, I guess they are supposed to be casting and getting the second movie ready soon. I have to admit, even though it isn't as good as the book I am a dork and saw it 3 times within the first week it was open I'm a freak but I love it.
Re: Twilight

Re: Twilight
From what I have heard they have casted the same Edward and Bella (Robert Pattenson and Kristen Stewart) but they have to get a new director for New Moon (Cathrine Hardwick directed Twilight) because Cathrine didnt get along with one of the producers... btw, did you notice that the author was in one of the scenes?
Re: Twilight
Ok, cool!^^ I like the actor and actress for Edward and Bella. No, I didn't notice the author was in some of the scenes. Which ones?
I need a new image holder...lol
